Today I came along on a trip to a place called Strømstad in Sweden. My goal of the day was to find a soft-air gun version of the revolver named Python by Colt since I need it for my Gordon Freeman costume. Sure enough such a thing is not the best to purchace at the moment after the bombing and shootout in Norway last Friday, but at least a soft-air weapon can only shoot small plastic pellets that can't even hurt a squirrel. People had also put down flowers and Norwegian flags in this city because of what happened, so that was nice of them. Not finding a single store that sold soft-air guns, I walked into a toy store where I found at least some but not the right one. Even better was that I found the last of the robot creatures by WowWee that I needed called RoboReptile, and so I bought it to finally complete my RoboCreature collection, excluding that weird looking RoboPanda that was pulled back from production anyway. After we were done walking around in that city, we drove to another mall in Sweden where I already knew they were selling a replica of the Colt Python, only it is painted black with the old version of the grip. I asked the guy behind the counter if I could look at it, and sure enough the whole thing was made of metal that could probably be brushed to a shiny silver finish like what I need, so at least I have a backup choice in case I don't find the soft-air revolver by Cybergun. They were also selling cheap full metal replica hand-grenades of the same kind that Gordon Freeman also used in the video game Half-Life, so I bought one of those for my Gordon Freeman costume. Later when trying to find a Portal cake platter, all the lights went off in half the mall for quite some time, so that was actually the third time I've been in a completely dark mall without electricity. After the power came back, some groceries and candy was bought before heading back to Norway.
