It appears that the world famous singer Whitney Houston was found dead in a hotel room yesterday, which is bad. Now three great singers have died in a not so long time span, so keep away from drugs, kids! I don't even drink alcohol and stay away from pretty much everything else but caffeine and the occasional smell of bondo and spray paint when building things, so I should be fine for a few more years. With the Gynoid statue Zenia being done for the most part a few days ago, she was brought up to my apartment and stood alright for a day or two while I made clothes for her, but after having posed her around for some new artwork, she just couldn't stand anymore because of the glass base slipping across the floor until she would fall over, so I've been trying to modify one of the glass plates I already had to work with a much thicker rod that would mount onto Zenia's back, holding her securely in place. But of course one of the bad things that would happen when drilling through a round plate of tempered glass is that it will shatter if one is not careful, and of course with my bad luck, it damn well did! So that was that whole plate gone in the crapper. My plan now is to cover a round piece of plywood with some fancy tiles in various silver and purple colors if I can find that somewhere. With that project now burning in hell, I decided to start working on the final Gynoid statue Almea instead and got as far in the afternoon as to chop her head off and reshape the eyes while looking at reference photos of Lara Croft from the video game Tomb Raider Underworld that I have decided to make Almea look like. Lara Croft's face was something I had wanted for a long time to sculpt for something or the other and even planned on giving Roxena this face, but in the end she turned out looking more alien-like with only a few features modeled after Lara Croft such as the nose and lips, but now that I've only got the Gynoid statue representing the spirit of air left to build, this was my last and actually perfect chance to use Lara's face for something, and she will sure look beautiful that way.
Log - 08 February 2012 - Zenia in all her glory.
Having worked on the Gynoid statue Zenia almost every single damn day, I was hoping to finish her before the month January was over to get as many things done as possible this year now that I've got a new apartment and an empty work-room to build things in. I just had a bad feeling of having wasted so much time not getting to do anything at all before moving to this new place, so I try as hard as I can to stay as active as possible to one day be able to relax just a little while before finding something better and more important to do. Even so, I did not make it to that deadline, and the second month came. I got to buy a cool looking white robot called Program-A-BOT and the two limited Christmas edition Hexbug Nano robots on the second day and therefore wanted to finish Zenia on this day. That didn't happen either. A few days later I did finally finish building Zenia and got her up to the apartment in a bunch of black plastic bags and started assembling her there for the first time. She stood upright a bit wobbly at best, but she did still stand for a few days while I started making her clothes. Then the clothes were finished, a few photos were taken to make new artwork featuring her, and the robots I ordered arrived in the mail. It was good times indeed, except for the part that after posing Zenia, the glass base plate underneath her left leg only slid across the floor all the time, pulling her legs apart until she would fall over if I didn't catch her first. Fortunately she didn't fall over with force and was put on the floor for the time being while I will convert the original glass base plate to fit with a sort of thick metal rod mount that will have the rod supporting Zenia from the back instead. Realizing that posing her legs would of course make her shorter, a traditional metal rod would not function well as a support, so the telescopic metal tube for my vacuum cleaner will be used instead since my parents have the same vacuum cleaner that they will replace some time anyway, giving me back the same kind of tube to use.
Log - 28 January 2012 - Almost iPhoned.
Not only were the spray paints I bought for Zenia incompatible, but they stank like an old munk's dirty underwear, resulting in my filter mask somehow loosing its capability to keep general stinks away from my lungs. For some reason it fumed a whole cloud of spray paint vapor into my nose every time I took a breath through the mask, and of course that meant I could either get brain damage or simply wait until I get to buy a new filter mask. And so last Saturday came when I could visit a huge store filled with tools and construction material, metal objects and other manly thing, also known as a hardware store, I believe. Wondering if buying a more expensive mask with replaceable filters would be cheaper than buying the same disposable filter mask everytime, it turns out it was, therefore I bought one of those things. It even looked like some sort of evil mask from the Star Wars movies, so that was a good thing apart from the fact that the quality of this mask and straps were not really as good as the ones of the disposable mask, so I took the old straps from that one and put them on the new one. Still the rubber is quite a lot stiffer on this new mask, not giving the same nice seal I got to my face with the other one, and worse than everything else is that some damn edges inside the mask are digging into the front of my nose, making it feel like all the cartilage inside of it has fallen apart. But other than that annoying mask, I also bought a nice model kit of the ship Titanic that somehow cost almost nothing. I'm not really interested in that ship because of the movie that was made about it, but I'm more interested in it in a historical sense, seeing as it was an absolutely huge ship that unfortunately hit and iceberg on its maiden voyage and did so the 14th of April 1912, meaning that on my birthday this year in 2012, this event happened 100 years ago, and that's exactly why I wanted to buy this model kit. Maybe I was even one of the people who died during those events in my previous life, depending if one is to believe in previous lives. And now a story about the first time I was glad to have bought socks after my work shoes basically ruined all the socks I had and I stumbled across a pack of what appeared to be super durable work socks, perfect for my need as a person who pretty much build stuff all day, all year without many hours to relax. A long phono to sound jack cable was also bought to convert some of my LP tracks over to MP3. So far I didn't really succeed in that. The Gynoid Zenia is almost almost finally completed with only the arms and a few joint details remaining, so this Saturday was spent on buying more spray paint for the arms and a few hinges and such after realizing the best way to lock Zenia's leg joints would be to screw bolts through hinges inside the body that would also flex when the joints are released. These joint locks seem necessary after Zenia became so damn heavy after putting in all the joints and other stuff that will make her look awesome like a glowing white goddess. And so came the plan into action to buy an iPhone 4S that I had seen in a mall last Saturday, and so far everything seemed to check out with the purchase almost complete until I finally realized that the iPhone the guy in the store picked out for me was the black one since there were no white ones left! That was a damn disappointment, followed by another disappointment that he did not know when or if they would return to the stock or not. Fortunately another store said they would most likely get it in again without knowing when, so one must buy one then. Moving from new technology to old technology, I finally found a nice 1985 Nintendo Entertainment System machine at the used stuff store where I have many times bought LPs. Alas the seller could not find the controls for it, so he told me to return to pay him later when he thought he would have found the controls and cables for it, so I do hope he does. I also got a Super Nintendo Entertainment System some while ago that also has no controls or cables, so I will try to acquire those as well soon. All I want now is a nice old Atari with Pac-Man and Space Invaders. All hail. Just as I wanted to get a much cooler full black and manly sewing case, I found one exactly like this at a store where I also bought some discount shower mounts that will later be used for the Gynoid Almea's head and arm movements. Now I'm just tired and don't know what else to write here.
Log - 12 January 2012 - Fluffy red Diffus.
One of the things you usually notice after it has happened is that alkyd paints and acrylic paints don't mix and react badly to one and other, resulting in Zenia's paintjob looking like the skin of a scrotum instead of becoming shiny white and smooth. Next plan is to buy new acrylic spray paint by the same brand from the same store and re-paint Zenia instead of trying to find alkyd silver paint and clear coat that I have no idea where can be found. Being that it's only two days until Saturday when I can buy new spray paint, I decided to stay at home yesterday to fix whatever would need fixing here and also got to work more on my website, deleting all my previous 4:3 ratio photos and pages now that I am replacing them all with 16:9 ratio widescreen photos and pages instead. While going through all these photos, I looked at the temporary banner for the fluffy, red marionette called Diffus that I've been planning to make for about 3 or 4 years already and thought maybe this would be the best time to start making that fluffy thing since it would not really take long when first getting to make it, and so I started to make it. The fabric was stretched out over the floor and the shapes were traced out, then the parts were mostly sewn together, only it got so late that I didn't bother finishing it then anyway. Today I woke up somewhat early because I was damn hungry, so I got plenty of extra time to work on Diffus anyway since I got up at that time. Sewing the parts together went fast, and after that I went down to my workroom to find some sticks in the toolshed that I would turn into the control cross for the marionette movements. After completing the control cross, the fluffy marionette was tied to it using a thin fishing line that wasn't too visible against the rest, and so Diffus was finally completed after having bought the red fabric for it years ago. In fact I used to own a pink duck-like animal marionette when I was a child and therefore already knew about these sort of things, but it was after having seen one at my ex-girlfriend's home that I decided to make my own, and it turned out looking preddy darn funny and fluffy. After having imagined this thing completed for years, the end result looks exactly like what I had in mind, making it seem like I've always had the thing, so I suppose it became just what I wanted it to be. I also realized that I've got several unseen DVD boxsets of Star Trek, MacGyver and Scrubs and will begin watching Star Trek tonight in bed on my portable DVD player. That's just what I got it for, the sweet awesomeness of watching movies and TV shows in bed.
Log - 07 January 2012 - Wildfire.
And so begins this year. In a mall not that far away, I found absolutely nothing of interest today, but in another mall somewhat further away in the other direction, I finally found a nice piece of fabric for my Jawa display costume's robes. Though it was really a curtain, it won't really matter, it will get cut up anyway as soon as I get the time to do other things. As of now I have been working hard to complete the Gynoid Zenia and finally got to start spray painting her body parts white recently, so it should all come together nicely soon. Of course one of the problems with spray painting things is that the whole room stinks like hell after that, and most of that smell gets everywhere else too through the gaps between the doors and such things, so today I wanted to buy a rubber sealing trim for the door to solve this problem. They didn't have any of this at the first store where I thought they had it, but instead I found some nice knee pads there to solve my other problem of getting sore knees from sitting down on them all the time when I'm building things. Another nice item I found there was actually just a cheap toy microphone, just the same as I used to have as a kid, so I knew already that any sound made into it would be vibrated further by a coiled spring suspended cup inside it, making an instand echo to any sound. What the fudge will this be used for, you say? Well it turned out by playing around with an empty Pringles can at my friend Lassor's place made me discover that my voice would get really dark when growling into such a can, so by modifying this can with the toy microphone for echo effect and adding a voice changer circuit board to it to make my voice even darker, it will just about sound just like the dark, growling moan of a Big Daddy from the BioShock games, or more precicely the voice of the one Big Daddy called Subject Delta who I am making a costume of, so the voice effects will of course be for this helmet instead of having to hook up some old MP3 player to it to play the same random moans over and over again when I can make the moans myself to whatever speed or sound I want. In the same mall where I bought the fabric for my Jawa display costume, a store selling weird costumes and other perverted party items were about to close down and was selling everything at half price, that is when I thought about the lenses they used to sell there and wanted to see if they had any more left at half the cost. Luckily enough they had just the right ones for my pre-armored Darth Vader costume, looking like red and yellow evil irises called Wildfire. I do believe these same lenses were later renamed to Darth Maul by the company since they looked exactly like the eyes one would get by turning to the dark side, but I don't really care what the name is anyway, these are good enough. I suppose naturally some people are squeamish about putting some foreign objects onto their eyes, but so far I've had about 2 and a half kilos of grinded metal and other crap fly into my eye cavity for years while building things, so poking a soft piece of colored rubber onto my eye doesn't really get to me at all when I usually poke a wet Q-tip around in my eye socket to clean it, which of course is much worse. And so back to that rubber sealing trim again. A different store where I knew they must have had it did in fact have it, so I bought one along with two packs of chromed edge trims for Zenia. Getting back to the workroom, I spray painted more of Zenia's parts after attaching the rubber sealing trim to the door frame, and sure enough it helped keeping in the smell. Alas opening the door to get out of the room made the smell ooze out into the hallway anyway...
Log - 31 December 2011 - The end of the world!
Of course now people are smart enough not to believe the world will end in 2012 just because some ancient Mayan calendar ended at this year, or in any other case resets for some reason, so today the world will of course not end after the time reaches 12. The day up until now was not really any special, just eating some dead pig with the family while waiting for the fireworks to start. Not really many fireworks this year though, but I got some awesome photos of what was sent up anyway. If I may, I would like to yap on about the things I have accomplished this year as I usually write about this every time the year changes to a new one. First of all I finally got to buy my own awesome Unimat machine for metal lathe work, metal gear making, woodwork, and basically everything else you would want to use it for. I bought every last missing movies and TV series I've ever liked on video through play.com where those things are cheap with free shipping and even pre-ordered the Star Wars complete saga Blu-Ray boxset there that I later of course got this year and watched with much joy, even while being sick during the last three movies. Up until then, I had not watched the Star Wars movies for years just for getting the "new movie feeling" when watching them again on Blu-Ray. I changed my website's name from "The Eternal Darkness" to simply "Dark Side Sith Lord" like my URL www.darksidesithlord.com to point more towards the character Darth Vader who will be the center piece of my website eventually, besides I was damn tired of darkness and evil anyway after nearly losing it several times during the beginning of this year, but that soon changed when my old neighbors moved to another house in this same time that coincidentally also had a built-in apartment underneath it that I fortunately later could move into, and so I was not just some nerdy geek living with my parents anymore, instead I was not a nerdy geek with my own robot-filled apartment! Still no RB5X robot in the mail though after probably having been conned by some butthole into buying that robot that probably never even existed in his possession. Other than that, mostly everything needed for my new apartment was bought in, such as a refrigerator, laundry machine, coffee grinder, forks, knives, spoons, a huge TV, shelves here and there, a huge black couch, a cool table, and so on and so forth. Eventually I realized this place was of course that first house I would supposedly move to according to those weird psychic sources I checked out years ago, which was pretty damn accurate right down to the color of the walls and the overall shapes and settings of every room. I decided to build yet another red and black Gynoid statue named Roxena that was later finished in the basement of the local stone museum after being allowed to work on both her and Zenia down there. Later when my old room was basically empty, I decided to move Zenia up there since it would be easier to finish her there instead of walking down to that museum all the time where I could not spend as much time with the project as I would want to. Up until now I have been working a lot to finish Zenia, but did not get to finish her this year, although she is nearly nearly finished already and won't take too long to finish past the start of 2012. I bought a nice new huge high-end office chair for my computer desk, a crawly little caterpillar robot, and all the Studio Ghibli movies in the English dubbed versions at nearly the same time. After realizing it would be nearly impossible to photograph a "Little Sister" from the video game series "BioShock" to edit into the photos of my Subject Delta costume from this same game series, I thought it would be a good idea to buy a child mannequin to turn into a real life-size "Little Sister" statue instead since I was already going to make a small, simple tape and paper mannequin for the inside of a Jawa display costume from the Star Wars movies and could use the "Little Sister" statue inside the Jawa display costume instead since both these characters are very small and have big glowing yellow eyes, so that was pretty darn perfect for both these purposes, and the end result turned out pretty damn realistic looking and creepy like it's supposed to be. Having bought the special edition boxset of the video game BioShock 2, I was now in the possession of an old style LP record for further retro feeling related to the gameplay, so later I decided to bring down the old record player from my previous home's attic to test it out. A small stack of LP's were also found up there and brought over to this place. The player didn't really work well, but I got to listen to at least some of the music which I thought was pretty damn good, seeing as I like old 1970's and 1980's music and all, so I went fully into trying to fix up the player by gluing and screwing and cleaning and spackling, even replacing the stylus needle that was basically completely flat instead of pointed. Realizing how many good songs there were on these LP's that I had never even heard before, I soon became one of those weird people who shuffle through LP record boxes at markets and used stuff stores to find lots and lots of awesome music you would not hear anywhere else for a dirt cheap cost. Although I didn't get to annoy the Technical Museum enough this year to make them sell the Modulus robot they absolutely do not need, I still got to buy a whole bunch of new and unused Modulus robots and parts in their original boxes with brochures and manuals and whatnot, though it did not include the full humanoid version called Moddy that is still my favorite robot, still I did finally find some new things on the Internet about Moddy after setting Google to search only for Italian pages, and shortly after I found two people who both in fact owned Moddy robots. Still this excitement didn't last very long after the first guy never replied me and the other guy decided not to sell it to me, but at least I've learned that finding a Moddy robot in Italy is not purely impossible as it is to find one here in Norway or anywhere else. Still I would prefer that beat up and worn out Moddy robot from the Technical Museum after realizing that one is most likely the one they displayed in the window of the store that sold them, meaning that that one is in fact the very first Moddy robot and robot in general that I ever saw in my life as a child. Still those anus sphincters wish to keep it stored in their basement after claiming it is important to keep it there because of a "cultural history", which is of course all bullshit after all the other lies and bullshit they have served me ever since the first time I asked to buy that robot, so I wish nothing well for any of those people. They can all suck my ridges! As for other awesome Italian things, I wanted to buy a simple scooter to ride around on since I do not own a car driver's licence yet and my old moped looks like a black banana on two wheels, but it turns out the scooter I was about to buy was just a piece of crap, so I did not know where else to get a cheap scooter anymore. Later a trip was taken to a place called The Scooter Central where I thought I probably wouldn't buy one since they only had expensive Vespas and other such scooters, but then I saw just the most awesome big and red shiny Vespa with a custom leather seat and other tricked out custom features and really wanted that thing right away. Originally I didn't even want to spend much money on a scooter, but realizing I could actually afford an awesome new Vespa like I've always wanted, I paid so much more to get it, and I haven't even regretted having spent so much money on such a nice red Vespa, though things don't always have a good story connected to them when my Vespa was caught up in an annoying accident that ended up sending it to repairs. Later it got more or less fixed up again, and I got to take two nice long trips from here to Oslo anyway. Later I got really sick though and didn't even have the energy to cover the leather seat of my Vespa, resulting in it getting black mold stains from water damage. I still didn't get to do anything about that and am not even sure anymore what it looks like. Because the first Gynoid I built named Cyrah didn't look like much anymore next to the other Gynoids, I decided to re-design her face a bit and give her a complete overhauling with fresh new sparkly shiny silver spray paint, chrome stripes, green highlights, and many other new features to make her look just as good as the other Gynoids, even changing her overall body posture to make her look more natural, so now the new Cyrah looks much better and has a more defined green color scheme. I got to wear my Anakin Skywalker costume at a completely awesome convention called Desucon and even got to go up on stage with the rest of the Nordic Garrison and got much applause and good comments. I even got about 500 hugs at this convention, which was awesome. Ironically and most fortunate was that two other members of the Nordic Garrison dressed up as both Anakin's master Obi-Wan Kenobi and his wife Padmé Amidala, so I got to take some pretty cool photos with them to later add to my website, though I have strangely enough not even received them yet. Damn tragic was the fact that only a few weeks later, a terrorist bomb exploded very nearby the place where Desucon was arranged, so I was lucky not to have been there. Still there were almost 80 people that were not so lucky when this same evil terrorist took a boat over to an island camp where he shot and killed everyone he could. Shortly after this evil thing had happened, thousands of people placed roses all over the streets of Oslo, filling up a huge area as big as a swimming pool of nothing but flowers, and there were even more flowers other places too. I got to witness all these flowers myself on a trip to oslo near the time they would remove the flowers. Still it's nice that they will turn all these flowers into soil for some sort of memorial or whatever they had planned about this incident. Shortly after I went on a trip to Sweden where there were even more flowers and Norwegian flags placed everywhere because of what happened. I also bought the last of the WowWee robot creatures that I wanted to get in the form of the Roboreptile. I never really got to even test this robot this year though, only having bought batteries for it and placing it on a shelf, but I hope to get to film it soon the first time I turn on it's power. Having already made four robotic women in different styles and colors, I thought about maybe making a final fifth Gynoid in gold and orange colors since I had so many unused gold items left from my other Gynoid projects. Always having wanted to sculpt Lara Croft's face since I think she looks interesting and pretty, I thought maybe this would be the perfect opportunity to make this face on a final Gynoid, and ironically I found an Internet auction later saying that a store-line was selling away all their mannequins for some reason to the dirt-cheap price of 400 NOK. At this store I had the choice between two types of mannequins in two different colors, one being Asian and the other being Caucasian, so I didn't really know which one to choose, then I suddenly realized how much the Caucasian mannequin already looked like Lara Croft and decided to buy that one. I didn't even get to start working on this Gynoid named Almea this year as I've been too busy only working on Zenia so far. Though I'm just some weird guy building female shaped robot statues, I still get the time to interact with some of those actual women out there, one of these being my first ex-girlfriend from almost 10 years ago, and dang that was an interesting experience having her over at my apartment. Though we had not really planned for anything, I just got back those feelings I had for her all those years ago and soon after kissed her. She didn't mind but didn't really know if she wanted to get involved like that, but the day after we were into it like two cats. Oslo was a place I had previously never liked at all and just felt nervous and uneasy each time I was there, but this all changed too when going for a nice trip there with my ex-girlfriend, and we had a great time while doing so, having seen most of the neat stuff there is to see there. We also took trips to other places and even walked around this place a few times. Unfortunately I became sick again later and quite irritable and annoyed at everything, so I said a few things to her that made us argue and stop speaking to eachother for some while. Though we talk again now, her plan to come back here no longer lasted. Right now I'm not sure what I feel about her, though she is one of those girls who I'll always love anyway. When Halloween was right around the corner, I wanted to finally finish a blue leather jacket inspired by Michael Jackson's red leather jacket from the music video "Thriller" and just about got to finish it for Halloween after having bought the rest of the leather needed for it in the shape of an old chair that I got to buy for only 50 NOK. The lower mine had caved in before this years Halloween event in the local mines, so the whole route was pretty boring this year, making people have to enter the upper mine, walk down the stairs and around some tunnels there, walk up the stairs again and enter the final room to get candy and things to drink, then walk back out again through the same tunnel. I just stood there next to the stairs, not really saying anything because of my veneers giving me a weird speech, then a TV crew came by and filmed me for a while. Coming home after that, I got to see myself on TV too, so that was the second time I've been on TV wearing a costume. Later I got some photos of the costume taken in the forest nearby before getting into my regular clothes again. Some of the last things I did this year was to buy diamond shaped crystals for each of the Gynoids in their unique colors, though I have no idea what these crystals will be for in the story I will make for them, but I'm somewhat sure it's important. Later I bought a cheap Cleopatra costume to use as Almea's clothes since golden costumes are far easier to find and cheaper to buy than just a cut piece from a rool of fabric, plus such costumes also consist of various different gold colored fabrics with prints and other nice effects on them. Later a very bad Christmas came for me when I got some money and socks. After that again was New Years Eve and the happenings described in the beginning of this log. That's all for this year, but I'm sure I did many more things than what I posted here and will get to do even more things this next year, unless the world explodes, that is...
Log - 28 December 2011 - Cleopatra's clothes.
With Kweznuz over a few days ago, I don't really care to write much about it, or make a log about it in the first place since it was not one of the best ones so far after some damn arguement that caused me to get out of my parent's house after yelling some bad things as I usually do when I'm offended, so I chose to stay in my own apartment instead this year until someone came to pick me up anyway after it was supposedly a bad thing that I didn't join them. And then there's the other part of it involving eating some poor dead animals and opening presents that mostly contained money and socks for me this year, although I don't really deserve anything. So far I have successfully widescreenified all of the main pages of my website after figuring out it would be best to make the whole thing and all the photos in widescreen instead for the new times when probably no one owns a 4:3 computer monitor anymore. I suppose it's a good thing then that I never really got to finish any photos of costumes and barely anything else now that I would have to widescreenize them all anyway. Most of the photos I have added were not really that good in my own eyes and would need re-working anyway, so no loss there. In fact I bet that when my Gordon Freeman costume is completed, tons of geeks will ask for higher resolutioned photos of it for wallpapers or graphics, so those photos would look even better in widescreen too, plus compressing them to 60% quality doesn't really make them look any worse than uncompressed ones and they take actually less space or just the same as my old narrow screen photos. The first build-up pages in my website to be in widescreen are the ones showing the creation of Zenia since I am currently working on this huge Gynoid statue right now and have been editing the photos to widescreen as they come in. I still photograph them in the old 4:3 format since this will let me adjust the photo up and down to choose what I want to crop away to make a 16:9 formatted photo of it, so no settings will be changed on my camera either. All those years ago when the first Gynoid Cyrah was simply a converted mannequin to wear a costume on, Zenia was supposed to be the only other Gynoid as Cyrah's small little jumpy sidekick girl, a place that the third water Gynoid Sheera later filled instead now that the plans to make Zenia a small Gynoid have been killed a long time ago. Zenia was always meant to have a fully articulated body, or at least a mostly articulated body as it is now, but the mannequin I bought to build Zenia out of turned out to be absolutely huge and even taller than Cyrah, now resulting in her mostly articulated body to reach to about 6 feet and 5 inches, or 195 centimeters, even taller than myself! Because she turned out so damn tall, I thought her boobies wouldn't really look right for that tall body and decided to blow them up a bit by cutting a slit underneath the middle bottom of them and pulling them outwards, but then they didn't really look right anyway, so I ended up bending a bunch of aluminum plates above them to act as a support structure that would be covered in bondo to become the new surface of the hooters, though after doing this to correct their shape, they ended up becoming absolutely huge! Sure enough knockers are the few things that can not become too big, so hopefully they will fit her new huge body and look big and bouncy, though they aren't really bouncy and completely solid hard though, but you get the picture. Also in the beginning when there was only Cyrah, I really only added whatever I wanted to her since I didn't really care about a story behind her when she was only a converted mannequin for a costume anyway, but later when I started building more Gynoids in unique colors that match elemental powers, I realized that these Gynoids had actually become my own version of a group of characters I used to love as a child that had such unique colors corresponding to elemental powers, such as the blue one would be associated with water and the red one would be associated with fire and so forth, therefore I later re-designed Cyrah to become the green Gynoid who's power I think is creating life such as all the living robots and plants on their planet. The final Gynoid I will build after the white and purple light Gynoid Zenia is completed is the gold and orange power Gynoid Almea that I have been buying parts for in a long time now to prepare for her creation. Gold fabric is not really that easy to find, so today I wanted to visit a costume and party store to buy a cheap golden costume as these are mostly more colorful and cheaper than a single row of meter bought gold fabric anyway. I found a really nice Cleopatra costume with a long gold dress, some collar stuff with a bandeau and some other head piece with all interesting gold fabrics in different textures and colors and even stripes and dots that change color, so these fabrics will soon become some cool new clothes for Almea for sure. I also finished sanding Zenia's new huge girl baloons today and am actually soon done building her after adding all the lights and spray painting it all, then I can finally spend at least one day in my apartment again since I've been busy all day every day building Zenia so far, so my place is sort of in a crappy state right now.
Log - 27 November 2011 - Diamond power.
Many things have happened since the last time I wrote a log, but I never seem to get the time or energy to write any new ones anymore since I am basically working all damn day on my projects, which is good though now that the Gynoid Zenia is actually almost completed after having been on hold for about two years, having only a head somewhat completed while the body was completely unmodified in any way. With my old room at my parents house still empty and full of dents, holes, paint, and whatnot from my previous projects, I now have the perfect place to work on my projects in the winter time, having nearly completed Zenia there already. Being as Zenia was always planned to have a fully articulated body, I've been fixing, modifying, cutting, bending, bondoing, and everything else to give her body joints where ever this is possible. As of now, most of her body has now been equipped with joints that will make it much easier to pose her around for the science-fiction artwork I make w
ith these Gynoids, and a few days ago I finally got to assemble her whole body again for the first time after giving it all the joints except for the arm joints, and she actually stood up good enough once I secured her in place with the calf spigot of the glass base plate. She could in fact also free-stand, only the joints weren't really strong enough to perform that action perfectly because of how heavy she has become, most of the weight coming from the actual head with all its mechanics. Zenia was actually meant to be the second and final Gynoid that would be smaller than the first Gynoid Cyrah because of all the joints that would have to be added, so having it small and lightweight would of course be best, but then I bought a then lightweight fiberglass mannequin that I later realized was a whole lot taller than the four other Gynoids I now also have. Now that Zenia's body is even taller because of all the joints that required gaps in between them all, she is absolutely huge at around six feet, five inches tall. That's even taller than me who is mostly concidered to be very tall at six feet, three inches. With all these Gynoids coming into place with their own unique colors matching their elemental powers, I realized that I was actually making up my own version of the kind of stories I used to love as a child, being about living robotic heroes in such unique colors as red, blue, white, and so on to go with their elemental powers of fire, water, and ice. Because of this I have decided to create my own story for these Gynoids since it is so similar to the storylines I used to love until the company who made those action figures and storyline completely messed up the storyline in order to simply make even more money out of greed. Now I have my own chance at a completely new storyline, only this time the heroes are five robotic hot chicks instead, which is totally awesome in itself. An idea I had in mind for this story was that there would be these five diamond shaped crystals in matching colors to each of the five Gynoids. Not really knowing what story to give to that, I still bought three large glass diamond shaped crystals for Cyrah, Sheera, and Almea while having ordered a red and a purple one for Roxena and Zenia, though I'm not sure if the manufacturer had these colors. Sharing my idea for this story at the RPF forum, a member said he liked the white face of Zenia the most and thought she looked most like she could be the leader, then it actually struck me that that would actually be a good idea since she is absolutely huge in comparison to the other Gynoids while being the most advanced one too with glowing lights all over her body, making it actually seem strange to have this large being in the background as one of the regular team-members with Cyrah as the leader. Cyrah's elemental power is creating life in form of artificial plants and such while her weapon is a glowing power staff that she beats the crap out of enemies with while Zenia's elemental power is light with her weapons being lasers shooting out of the palm of her hands, so it seems most likely that Zenia is in fact the leader even though Cyrah was the first one I built. Whatever else I will make up for this story, I have no idea, but it will come in time. With the new pole across the roof of my apartment's bedroom, I now have a great place to hang up my costumes. I also bought a neat new lamp with four spotlights on it, pointing towards my computer desk, my bed, the floor of the bedroom, and the shelf by the window, so things are actually pretty darn good at the moment with even better ways and tools to create things with, so I foresee all my projects and costumes will be completed in a much faster rate than before until they are all soon completed, then I can move on to more important things such as inventing a non-poluting engine that runs for free and will save the planet or at least some other tiny thing that no one thought of making yet. I also got the time to start drawing again, this time with a high interest in drawing humans and faces, having drawn a few so far. I wanted to try drawing people in a photorealistic style to see if I really can do that or not, and my first ex-girlfriend allowed me to draw one of her photos that I thought looks really beautiful. Today I bought two sets of high-end pencils for just those type of drawings, one set having colored pencils and the other one having standard black ones. We had quite a few arguements recently over stupid things on my end, mostly caused by me becoming sick and completely loopy from this and yelling at basically everyone around me, so I screwed things up a bit and lost my chance to date my first ex-girlfriend in November since she had planned to come to my place again after the great time we had the last time. Now we have agreed that she is far too busy and is in a different place than me for us to date, so I will continue looking for someone new again other than her, although she really is the most special girl I have ever met. I used to believe in all that psychic crap those evil, demented women used to tell me, but now I have no idea anymore what to expect or what will happen. Presumably I will find a new girlfriend who's name will start with R and will have something to do with the number 12. I hoped this was my first ex-girlfriend since her nickname is Rouge and her birthday is on the 12th, but it seems to be some other girl instead now, being an Asian girl with nice tan skin, black hair, pretty eyes and lips, and from what I've heard will also be interested in costumes, hopefully ones from Star Wars too. All I can say is that I hope this is true since most of my favorite female video game characters are all hot Asian chicks too.

Having finished watching what I had available of the Star Wars animated series called The Clone Wars on Halloween day, I continued watching the rest of the movies by one each day until today when I watched the last movie in the series. I had not watched any of the Star Wars movies for years since I wanted to start out fresh with the blu-ray release after having seen the movies so many times before in segments and out of order just to study costumes and such things, so they had become more like just simple movies rather than real events happening on screen as movies should feel like when you watch them. Having finally watched them all these years later, I really did get that fresh movie feeling as if everything was really happening, and with the three seasons of The Clone Wars I had in between the second and third movie, that really affected the whole way I looked at them too, having seen more adventures by Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Also this time since it seemed so new and real, my mind really got to connect all the movies like never before, thinking in the correct order of events like when seeing Luke as an adult, I thought "that was the boy Padmé gave birth to before she died and Obi-Wan delivered to his aunt and unkle on Tatooine" instead of thinking "Hey look, that's Luke right after he was born" when seeing that scene in the third movie. I see the second trilogy of movies more like they are the aftermath of whatever happened in the first trilogy, rather than the first trilogy being something else building up to the second trilogy. Whatever bad things happened in the first trilogy such as Palpatine taking over the Republic and turning that into the Galactic Empire, Darth Vader getting burnt and put into his protective survival suit, the creation of the Clone Troopers that eventually became the Stormtroopers, the creation of the Death Star, and all the other bad things, all of these things are what you see in the second trilogy. That really amuses me a lot too since the second trilogy that was actually made first from the 1970's to the 1980's and didn't have any so called prequels until 1999 and beyond, then people just complained that this new trilogy called the prequel trilogy was so bad and didn't have anything to do with Star Wars, but now ironically everything has changed with the release of all the movies, and the original trilogy has actually become like the prequel trilogy rather than the prequel trilogy becoming like the original trilogy. That is what I really mean. Also note that a series of six movies is called one movie with six sequels, not three prequels and three sequels, that just sounds stupid. Also the original is usually the first movie, so calling one trilogy the original when this contains the episodes 4 to 6 just sounds confusing too. This is why I have decided to start the trend with calling the trilogies the first trilogy I-III and the second trilogy IV-VI, or in any other case the complete saga as that is how it is supposed to be watched! So get over your middle-aged self who don't like the obviously good first trilogy because it doesn't make you feel like a kid like the second trilogy does. That's why you need to do as I did, stop watching the movies for year and watch them all again in the correct series! It really was a most awesome experience.
Log - 31 October 2011 - Hallowieners.
Up until now, I've been at several meetings held by the local stone museum about the annual Halloween event that they have started arranging each year, though I didn't really contribute with any other ideas that me wandering around in my Xanador Nekrid costume again, scaring off the kids and showing them which way to go and such. On the day before, most of the people involved with this event drove up to the mines where it would all take place, there we were told that one of the air shafts of the lower mine had collapsed, pouring rocks and other sediments all over the entrance of the lower mine, leaving quite a crater by the higher mine that had to be sealed off for the event, so this year the lower mine was closed, rearranging the path through the mines quite a lot. Ever since I made up the character Xanador Nekrid all those years ago, I had one costume in particular in mind, looking like a blue, long version of the red jacket worn by Michael Jackson in his music video "Thriller", so this year I wanted to finally make that jacket from an old blue leather jacket I had bought just for that purpose many years ago. The jacket itself turned out looking great, only half the jacket was missing from the waist down. I was supposed to color some light tan leather with a blue wax color I had bought earlier for this jacket, but the colors just didn't match, then I started experimenting with various blue and green markers and even bought several more expensive markers that still didn't make the color match. With Halloween right around the corner, all of a sudden a large flea market took place nearby, so I came along with my parents to this place where I luckily found an old blue leather chair for only 50 NOK that very much matched the color of the jacket. I also got to stay there long enough for the "bag sale" to begin, then I filled a whole bag full of clothes made of various neat fabrics that I can make other things from, and I even grabbed a black leather jacket into the bag as well, something that might come in handy for either my Darth Vader costume or my Alien costume. Later when returning home, I decided to peal apart the old chair at my parents house instead so they could easily discard of the rest later on instead of me dragging the whole thing to my apartment. Later when all of the real leather and pleather was isolated, I colored the blue leather a bit darker with black shoe polish until the color matched well enough with the jacket, then the whole thing was completed shortly after at last. And so Halloween was here, and I was preparing my makeup and costume at my parents house before being driven up to the mines where I was told I was free to do what I wanted to in there. At the entrance, we were told that a news team from the main national TV station called NRK was filming around in the mines, so I grabbed a helmet and walked into the middle of the mines and hoped that they would film me too. I removed the helmet of course and started sneaking around in the mines, probably even freaking out the people who were also there to scare the kids. That's what I love about this costume, it doesn't even look like me when I'm wearing all that makeup and the veneers in my mouth that somewhat alter my face, and all the people whoever they are think I look completely insane and scary like a nightmare. Even having a soar throat gave me an even darker, scarier voice than usual with a growly breathing sound, so that added a lot to it too. Eventually the kids and their parents arrived, and I had to show them the way down the stairs even though I was not supposed to point out the way this year, but since the lower mine had collapsed at the entrance, this years path involved the people walking in the upper mine's entrance, down the middle stairs, around some tunnels, back up the stairs and into the meeting hall next to the stairs that I had to keep them away from unless they had come back up the stairs. Not much of an interesting path this year, but the kids thought I was scary as hell and started screaming and running when they saw me. I didn't really say or do much though since I was not feeling too well and was still sick from before, but I'd say I scared them well enough even so just by looking like I did. Apart from me, there were people jumping up from crates, jumping out from holes and from behind poles, plus ghosts, spiders, skeletons, witches, bats, and even a grave yard that I had helped put up the day before. The TV crew that was there had filmed many of these things, then all of a sudden they came over to me and filmed my scary face and costume for quite some time, so I was hoping they would use that footage later and was almost counting on it since I was somethi
ng pretty darn out of the usual standing in there. After sneaking around the cave tunnels some more and scaring kids for a while, I decided to start taking some photos of everything and my own costume in the mines before the whole thing ended, then in the end I got a bag of candy and was pretty much pleased that I got to wear this costume this year after having planned that blue jacket for years already. Walking out of the mines, I wandered around at the camp-fires they had set up everywhere and even scared a few kids there too, then I got back to my parents house after that to see if I would be on TV or not, and sure enough I was featured in both the local news program and the national news program on the same night, making it the second time I've been on TV wearing a costume. Before taking the costume off again, I asked my mother if she could take some photos of me in the forest right outside their house now that I was wearing it in the first place after having planned that costume for many years, then a few different photos were taken of me, sitting on the ground looking insane and leaning against trees and such. This was a good day to be Xanador Nekrid indeed.
